Hello, Half Moon Lake!

I'm excited to announce that I'll be taking over as your new editor for the Loon Lines. Thank you Dave Balestri (previous editor) for all the work you put into previous editions. As we move into this new chapter, I'm committed to keeping you informed and entertained with all the latest news and happenings around our beautiful lake.

This summer was a blast! From sunny days on the water to cozy nights by the fire, we made the most of every moment. I hope you all had a wonderful time reconnecting with old friends and making new memories.

To better serve our community, we're excited to announce a new digital-first approach for the Loon Lines. This means you'll be able to access the latest news and updates online, quicker than ever before. In the spring we plan to again offer a printed version for those who prefer a physical copy, but with a small fee to help cover the costs of printing and distribution. More details on this approach will be shared before our next newsletter.

I’d like to highlight a a few new features the website and newsletter offers to support our lake. You can make a voluntary monetary donation with an online pay portal, sign up for our email distribution list to stay updated, or show your support by visiting our newsletter advertisers. By supporting our advertisers, you're directly contributing to the newsletter and the fireworks fund (see Mike’s article).
